  • About
Every proper Chinese household will have a bag of dumplings in the freezer. They might be from an evening when you or your family spent hours folding them and stowing them away, or they could be from the Chinatown cash-only shops, where a bag of fifty can go for ten dollars. Regardless, frozen dumplings are the perfect rainy-day food fund. Boil them up when it’s too late to go to the grocery store, when you need a snack at 3 p.m., or, if you’re like me, when you’re a little tipsy from a night out and need something to soak up the booze while mindlessly watching Netflix.
