Peppers or Capsicums

The large peppers used as a vegetable are variously known as Spanish peppers, Long peppers, Green or sweet peppers, Bell peppers or Red peppers according to their shape and colour. They are a very popular vegetable in America and Spain and are being used more extensively than formerly in Britain.

Peppers are in season from August to November.
