  • About
This is an excellent vegetable and can be used raw in salads, or cooked and served with a good sauce. It grows in the wild state on the beaches of certain parts of Hampshire and on the sea-coasts of Western Europe. Its high price when bought probably prevents cultivated seakale from being a more popular vegetable.
Seakale is in season from December to May.
