Speedy Salads for On-Deck Dining

After the stresses and strains of finding a ship to take our heroes on to London, let us consider a few easy salads for on-deck dining as the Henrietta steams out of New York’s harbour under the command of ‘Captain Speedy’. I’ve eaten so many of Andy Harris’s delicious salads, most memorably upon the deck of an old sailing boat, watching the sun set over the rooftops of a nearby coastal town. They are never boring and are always different, always a delight.
