Letizia Volpi is an artist living and working in Florence, and a passionate collector of old recipes for Tuscan sweets. Perhaps one day she will write her own book on the subject. In the meantime she is content to delight all her friends and family by cooking six times the usual quantity for recipes such as this one. And there is an added bonus.
