Crispy and Crunchy Treats

This chapter is full of tiny sweet treats that are perfect for fêtes and bake sales, kid’s parties or lunchboxes. The recipes are simple and with a little adult supervision are fine for children to make themselves. All your best-loved crispy cakes are included-peanut butter, chocolate hazelnut and classic chocolate Easter nests.

For slightly more unusual flavours why not try the coconut popping candy cakes or the malted cornflake cakes, infused with malt powder and crushed chocolate malt balls. One of my favourite recipes is the ever-popular salted caramel – rich butter, salted toffee, coated cornflakes – great with a cup of tea or coffee for elevenses.
