Practicing Servant Leadership Today

When it all works well, what does it look like? It looks like a thriving business filled with engaged, high-energy people doing work that they find interesting, challenging, and enriching. According to Greenleaf, the test of Servant Leadership is “Do those served grow as persons? Do those being served become healthier, wiser, freer, more autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants?” Throughout this chapter we’ve included the stories of people for whom this approach has been enriching.
