When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, in the sixth grade, Naglaa replied enthusiastically that she’d be a cook. Naglaa went on to study business administration and marketing in Egypt, but the kitchen and opportunity to gather family around her is what provides limitless joy. She enjoys learning about flavors from other cultures and incorporating them into her own cooking. To her, each taste has a story attached to it — and remembering and telling these stories make the flavors stronger.
