It’s easy to get into a lazy rut of eating the same old junk, which actually just ends up making you feel more sluggish and time-poor. I was living all the stereotypes, buying myself the cheapest chicken nuggets, fish fingers and potato waffles I could find. The priority was saving money for nights out, and food strictly came second.
What I eventually learned, though, is that setting aside time to make proper dinners will make you feel more organised, more lively and more motivated. Plus, if you can get in a few veggies, you always will feel better for it.
