  • About

Good wine should not be considered a luxury, as many excellent wines are readily available all over the world. For a different end to a meal, try making your own home-made liqueurs in a variety of flavours, or tempt your palate with cabernet and Sauternes ice creams.

A collection of great wines

The first step for those wishing to achieve a greater understanding of the world of wine is to find a good wine merchant. Not only will this person provide you with a stock of good wines, but they should be able to provide information on wine education, and guide you to wines to taste in order to broaden your knowledge and fire your enthusiasm. When travelling, make sure you go to good restaurants and let the sommelier introduce you to the best wines of the region; some of the world’s great palates were formed at the tables of Point and Taillevent.
