Sahadi’s has given me room to be as creative in the kitchen as I want to be, and that is truly a gift. I am proud to be a member of this vibrant, hospitable family, four generations of whom work, socialize, and explore food together.

SPECIAL THANKS GO TO · Mom, Dad, and Uncle Bob for their love and encouragement, and for allowing me to open my first kitchen. My grandmother, Adele Haddad, for fostering my earliest love of food and hospitality. Sonia and Aunt Yvonne, who allowed me to peek over their shoulders and pick their brains, and who taught me traditional techniques. Pam made my recipes come alive on the page, retesting until they were perfect. By the end, she knew my cooking style better than anyone. Kristin, Caitlin, Nidia, and Jess, the terrific team who cooked, styled, and photographed until my recipes became a book.
