Up early to rendezvous on Number 5 wharf for a quick sail around Sydney Harbour, in a twelve-metre ex-Americas Cup yacht called Vim. The idea is to shoot the opening scene of the series with me mixing a non-alcoholic cocktail while at the helm of this magnificent craft, sailing full pelt under Sydney Harbour Bridge.

As usual there are no rehearsals. Once all the equipment is plugged in, David sort of looks at me and says, ‘Are you ready?’ and I say, ‘I think so’ and he says, ‘Okay. Quiet please, off you pop.’
