What I have called party food really should be called ‘delicious snacks’. If you make three or four of any of these recipes, you are effectively making the equivalent of European canapés – delicious food to be enjoyed in a light hearted way, especially in the summertime, when the weather is fine and you are having a few drinks with friends, rather than sitting down to a formal feast.
