This book is dedicated to my mom, Belle Rykiss, who was my culinary inspiration and my very first cooking teacher. She used a food processor almost every day for 35 years until her midnineties, creating magical food memories in her miracle machine with the simplest of ingredients. Sadly, my mother passed away as this revised edition neared the final stages of production. Mom inspired my love of cooking and I know she will continue to watch over me, cooking over my shoulder.
