Spain

While in Spain, we visited Barcelona and Madrid. In Barcelona we loved staying in the Eixample neighborhood, a bit outside the busy downtown area, near the border of El Poble-sec. From Barcelona we did side trips to Girona, Sitges, and the Costa Brava. In Madrid we stayed in the Salamanca neighborhood and did a day trip by train to Toledo.
