  • About
Brown sugar is granulated white sugar that has been combined with molasses to achieve a rich, dark flavor and light texture. It is most commonly marketed as light or dark, with the light being the most delicately flavored. Normally quite soft with delicate grains, brown sugar is now also available in a dry, granular form, as well as a liquid. Its rich flavor adds depth to baked goods, sauces, and other mixes.
