To Prepare Groats, Flour, and Oat Flour

Remarks: 1 pood of rye will yield 35 lbs rye flour. 1 pood of wheat will yield 22 lbs of first quality flour, 9 lbs of second quality flour, and 5 lbs of bran. 1 pood of winter barley, which is better than summer barley, will yield 23 lbs coarse groats, or 21 lbs medium groats, or 19 lbs very fine groats. 1 pood of good dry oats will yield 10 lbs groats.
