These lunches and dinners can be quite serious occasions, and are usually hosted prior to or following an important meeting discussing business negotiations or relationships between countries. We welcome a lot of well-travelled international guests at the embassy, and they may have certain expectations of authentic Italian food, so you can’t let them down.

While our guests don’t come here primarily for the food, I believe it plays an important role – it’s always better to make a decision on a full stomach after all!
