  • About
I have set out a very rough guide to storing food at room temperature, in the fridge and in the freezer. Although most foods can be frozen for 2–3 months, I try not to freeze anything for longer than a month. The food will still be of optimum quality after a month and also it forces me to actually use it, and not just leave it to linger in there for months or even years!
My tip would be to have a monthly stocktake of your freezer and plan to use up any meals or snacks that have been in there for at least 3 weeks. This will also help you to plan forward and you’ll know how much space you have and what recipes would be best to batch cook in the coming weeks.
