  • About

‘Sarma’ refers to dishes made from leaves (vine, cabbage, silverbeet/Swiss chard...) wrapped around a filling of spiced rice and herbs. The traditional recipe combines rice, onions, dried mint, lemon and olive oil. Hande Bozdoğan gave me this sweet recipe. Sarma are best made the day before, and served cold.
