  • About
Traditionally, Epiphany is the day when gifts are exchanged and there is a parade in honour of the Three Wise Men in Florence. La Befana, the warty old witch, comes to visit on her broomstick, bringing presents for the good children and a lump of coal for those who have been naughty. Special cakes are prepared in honour of this day, sometimes baked in the embers of the fire for Befana to find when she comes down the chimney.
