Bake these while you finish the tart. Break off 10 pieces of the reserved dough, each about the size of a walnut, and roll in your palms. Flatten slightly. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving space for spreading. With the dough that’s left, make decorations such as initials and put on top of the biscuits. Bake for 10 minutes or so, until golden. Offer as treats or snacks.
