“The journey has not been without its struggles; trying to highlight the woman’s role on the farm was hard for a lot of the older generation to get their heads around. On the flip side, I love being part of such a forward-thinking and dynamic industry.”

Born and raised in Worcestershire, I have never settled anywhere else. After graduating from Harper Adams University College I returned home where I met Matthew, who is now my husband. We were both members of Worcestershire Young Farmers (different clubs I might add), dated for seven years and then finally got married. We moved into his family farm in 2014; he is a third generation farmer whose family have farmed here for over 95 years.
