“It’s not easy working in the fish industry and it’s full of difficult times, long hours and political battles, many of which I didn’t know would even exist. But it is the most rewarding industry, and one of the largest families which I am proud to be part of.”

I work with my husband Peter Williams, a Hampshire and Sussex based inshore fisherman, and am 100% proud of what we both do. For many years, I worked in an office but then decided to take a leap into the great ocean a few years ago, by supporting my husband in what he does and running my own business buying and selling local fish and shellfish. When Fresh From The Boat was born, I had goals and a vision, but nothing could have prepared me for our achievements so far.
