Unless you are using your tofu in something liquid, it’s always a good idea to press it to squeeze out as much of the liquid as possible. To do this, lay a few paper towels on a clean surface and then place your block or blocks of tofu on top of them. I recommend slicing your tofu blocks in half longwise to speed up the pressing process. Add another layer of paper towels on top of the tofu slices and then place something flat on top of the tofu. Set a weight or something heavy on top of the flat surface (I use a large bowl filled with water). Then let it sit for about 20 minutes.
