  • About

In the late 1990s, Jayme Natividad, at the time a budding chef, brought his good friend, the Filipino journalist Margaux Salcedo, to Cendrillon. Margaux wrote a rave review of the restaurant for one of the Philippine dailies back home. She later told us that she had never before written a word about food, but her visit to Cendrillon started her on a new path. Now she is a prolific food blogger (margauxlicious.blogspot.com) and writes a regular restaurant review column for the Philippine Daily Inquirer. She also produces and markets Nana Meng’s Tsokolate, made from a treasured family recipe.
