Mile 7 - Ikarus

One of the most unforgettable experiences during my time at Rust en Vrede was the invitation by Red Bull to cook at Ikarus, their world-renowned restaurant at Hangar 7 in Salzburg, Austria. It’s housed inside a glass hangar on the runway alongside a collection of historic and contemporary planes, helicopters, motorbikes and Formula 1 racing cars. Being a bit of a petrol head, I was in heaven.
