Downtown

One of the things that I love about Johannesburg is the CBD. The high rises and the deserted streets. On Sundays, I go down to what is now called Helen Joseph Street, formerly President Street, where these old hotels, offices and chambers are boarded up. I always imagine what kind of restaurant I could create in one of these spaces. I still believe that I will do something there. These beautiful buildings deserve to be rejuvenated.
