Make sure you follow the advice on the types of edible flowers used and only substitute flowers that are edible, organically grown and have not been sprayed with pesticides.

Special note: day lilies (Hemerocallis sp.) are generally edible; however, some varieties may not be, so please check carefully which variety you are using and do not substitute any other type of lily for day lilies. Most other lilies are not edible and could be poisonous.
