To say I am a book enthusiast is putting it mildly. I adore books of all types but especially cookbooks. If I meander into a bookstore to pass some time before an appointment, I inevitably come out with several books under my arm. I am like a kid in a candy store—I desire everything and have a difficult time deciding. Once home, I am perfectly content to sit for days on end with my sole companion a pile of cookbooks.
I ask potential employees during interviews what three cookbooks they would take with them to a desert island and why. The answers are always interesting and always varied.
