Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

“I co-own a 10-metre creel boat fishing out of Ullapool. I started fishing at 23 and crewed on a few boats, then I bought my own boat at 25 - just a small boat. I always had a love for the sea, for surfing and sailing, and I was always on boats but I never did any fishing when I was young. But where we’re from it’s all around you - there’s friends at it, there’s families at it - and I love it. I would have loved to get started earlier for sure.
