  • About
Can you spare at least one hour a day? Or will you only be able to tend to the garden a couple of times a week? Are you going on holiday during the growing season? If your time will be limited, consider growing hands-off crops that require little to no maintenance such as lettuce, beets, carrots, potatoes, herbs, kale, and bush beans. Other than the occasional pest check, these are truly set-it-and-forget-it crops. Be honest with yourself. The last thing I would want is for your garden to feel like a chore.
