Seed Starting for Beginners

One of the most rewarding garden activities is without a doubt starting seeds. As mentioned earlier, I do not recommend seed starting if you are new to gardening in general. But if you do want to embark on a seed starting project, this chapter should help set you off on the right path.

I don’t own a greenhouse, and even if I did, it would have to be heated for me to be able to use it to start seeds in late winter. Therefore, I start seeds indoors, in the comfort of my own home, where the temperature is consistent and I have full control of the growing environment.
