Choose legs, with or without skin and bone. Turkey breast will dry out a bit, but it’s possible to use it if you’re sure to add plenty of fat to the dish. If you have a slow cooker model that runs hot—if your dishes are consistently boiling or simmering vigorously after four hours or so—I’d avoid it.
