Fish stock can be easily turned into fish soup with a handful of vegetables (for cooking times), some herbs and seasoning, and even another handful of thin egg noodles. Gelled Fish Soup can easily be used as a hot fish soup. The liquid left from making Fish Soup Caribbean Style makes a delicious opener soup.

Light fish soups are good starters before meat meals. More substantial ones can precede a salad or a pasta.
