Pregnancy cravings

Traditionally, pregnancy is a private affair not discussed until it is noticeable, not even with the baby’s father. It’s even considered premature to speak of your pregnancy in your first trimester, given the risk of miscarriage.

Women usually continue with their daily duties with a strong belief that keeping active will quicken the labour. If it’s a woman’s first child, she will go home to her family in the eighth month to relax and prepare for the birth. The husband will remain in their marital home.
