Meal planning has been crucial in my work with clients for years. Having a rough idea of what we are going to cook and eat each day is powerfully helpful. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or wildly original, but an outline of a plan, typed into our phones, scribbled on the back of an envelope, written on a black or whiteboard, or in a dedicated diary, will save time, money and effort. If you don’t follow any of the other advice in this book, I urge you to at least give basic meal planning a go for a couple of weeks and see just how transformative it is.
