  • About

Parsley is one of the most important of all Vegetable Herbs, entering, as it does, into the seasoning of all soups, meats, fish and even Vegetables. It is one of the most beautiful of all garnishes, and gives a pretty touch to the homeliest dish. The “Plain-Leaved, ” the “Double Curled, ” or the “Beautiful Garnish” varieties are always to be found in the New Orleans market. A handful of Parsley is always thrown in the market basket for Lag-niappe.
