The Biscuit Cook Book, 1958 (State Library of NSW).

In March 1955, Sydney radio personality Del Cartwright invited listeners on 2CH to join her in a pioneering venture. She wanted to harness the power of the humble cuppa and improve the lives of disabled children.
Within a year the Teamakers’ Club of Australia had more than 500 members working hard to raise money for the NSW Society for Crippled Children, and the 2500 disabled children then on its register. By its 40th anniversary in 1995, the club had raised more than $100,000.
