More Star Spangled Cooking features recipes from a United States president, and not one, not two, not even three, but four past, present and future First Ladies—Jackie Kennedy, Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon and Nancy Reagan.
The fascinating cookbook was assembled in 1968 by the American Women’s Club of Sydney. The club was established in September 1946 to welcome American women who had recently moved to Sydney and help link them up with other expats. It also set out to enhance relationships between Australia and the United States.
