Lemons

  • About
Another of my desert island choices - if they are not already growing there - has to be the lemon. Think of all the fish I will catch and grill - if I didn’t have lemons it would be a sorry kettle of fish. Lemon juice would be useful for any wild pigs I might catch or birds of the air. It’s also good for the skin and useful as an antiseptic for wounded feet and the like. And there are bound to be some other forms of fruit or coconuts on the island (unless I am on an ice floe, God forbid!), which wouldn’t be hurt by a drop of lemon juice.
