About the Author

Jessie Sheehan is the coauthor of Icebox Cakes (Chronicle Books) and has contributed to many other cookbooks. She writes, bakes, and develops recipes for sweets in Red Hook, Brooklyn, not far from her beloved Baked, the bakery where she got her start.

Alice Gao is a New York City–based photographer. Her work appears in The Healing Slow Cooker (Chronicle Books).
