It may seem overwhelming to transition from whatever your “normal” way of eating is to the paleo diet. It’s not easy to give up some of your favorite foods, and even though paleo can be very straight-forward – animal protein, vegetables, fruits, and high-quality fats – putting together meals can be confusing when you’re just getting started.
I encourage you to keep it as simple as possible for the first week or two. Instead of diving right into the recipes in this book, you might want to simply prepare a bunch of protein and vegetables in advance. That way, you can mix and match throughout the week to make your meals.
