  • About
Circle was the club of my twenties—and for a lot of my friends, too. Because unlike every other club queue in the borough of Manhattan, this one was overwhelmingly Asian. It got a bit of a bad rap through the years, but the megaclub remained true to its mission from day one: providing a place for young Asians and Asian Americans in NYC to get a little crazy. Here, a brief history of the infamous club—from inception to its closing in 2018—the owners, the regulars, and the regulars who would never admit to being regulars.
