Babette Yu began her Le Cordon Bleu journey at the Sydney campus and achieved her Certificate III in Pâtisserie. Between 2012 and 2013, she completed the Diplôme de Pâtisserie at the Paris campus, further fuelling her desire to continue her culinary journey.She enjoys working with chocolate and loves creating macaroons, desserts and breads. After gaining all the experience, she discovered a unique talent in cake decorating. In 2017, Yu launched her own business Blooming Cakes where she focuses on creating celebration cakes for clients and shares her knowledge of piping techniques in several workshops that she runs.
