Ingredients

  • 12 quarts tomatoes, peeled
  • 12 onions, chopped
  • 2 bunches

Method

  1. Mix tomatoes, onions, celery, and salt.
  2. Let set at room temperature for 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Ladle into jars.
  6. Process in hot-water bath for 30 minutes.
