Ingredients

  • 2 dozen large peppers
  • 15 medium onions
  • ½ cup salt

Method

  1. Chop or grind peppers and onions.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and cover with boiling water.
  3. Soak vegetables in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  4. Drain well.
  5. Mix vinegar, sugar, mustard seed, celery seed, and salt.
  6. Pour over vegetables.
  7. Heat until boiling and boil for 15 minutes.
  8. Ladle into hot jars and process for
