  • 1 pound butter
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 quarts diced

Method

  1. Melt butter and sauté onion until soft.
  2. Add ham and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Pour beans, ketchup, brown sugar, and seasonings into a 12-quart stockpot.
  4. Add in ham mixture and enough water to fill stockpot.
  5. Stir well and adjust seasonings to ta
