Cabbage was popular in Al-Andalus, as was a mix of sweet and savory, so this salad, named after the last dynasty of Granada, lives up to its heritage. The sweet golden raisins and crunchy pine nuts deliciously offset the bitter cabbage. Gonzalo suggests serving it with grilled fish. If necessary, it will keep in the refrigerator for a few days in an airtight container, but do not add the vinegar, olive oil, and oranges until you are ready to serve.
