Salame di Noci

Dolci or sweets are generally reserved for festivities and other special occasions in Italy, rather than served to round off a meal. This salami di noci from Molise has some similarities to the pan forte di Siena. The fact that it’s shaped like a salami shows you the love this region has for pork products! You will need two sheets of rice paper to wrap the ‘salami’.
